Making Purchases Directly from the Item Search Interface (12/19/2011)
The feature originally intended for patch 1.20 that enables purchases to be made directly from the item search interface was released on December 19, 2011. It is now possible to make purchases from market entrances and Grand Company headquarters. With the release of patch 1.20a, we plan to make direct purchases possible from anywhere within market dens, rows, and wards.

Regarding Billing Procedures (12/16/2011)
As previously announced, we will be bringing the extended free trial period to a close and introducing subscription-based billing to FINAL FANTASY XIV, commencing Friday, January 6, 2012.
Beginning today, players have the opportunity to set up a subscription plan. Upon agreeing to the terms and conditions of subscription-based billing, we ask that you complete the procedure via the Square Enix Account Management System.
Please note that we are working to implement additional payment options around the commencement of billing in early January.

Patch 1.20 Notes (12/15/2011)
Patch 1.20 has gone live, bringing with it all the exciting new content and refinements announced thus far and a whole host more besides. Adventurers can now test their mettle against Good King Moggle Mog XII in the latest primal battle, glory in their accomplishments with Achievements, experience the fruits of the class reforms, and the list goes on!

* We regret to inform you that the release of the feature allowing players to purchase items directly from the Item Search interface has been postponed. Selecting an item in the interface will bring up a purchase prompt; however, an error message will appear when you attempt to proceed with the transaction. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
An announcement will be made in the near future regarding the new implementation date.
